Dubai Science Park Overview
Dubai Science Park (DSP) is a signatory and highly ambitious project by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, developed by the Government-backed TECOM Group in 2005 as ‘Dubai Biotechnology & Research Park or DuBiotech. It merged with EnPark to be DSP in 2015.
The primary purpose of developing this specialised knowledge-oriented business district is to encourage scientific studies and promote research for innovative solutions to benefit UAE and the world at large.
Based in Al Barsha South Community, DSP has innovative infrastructure for supporting Sci-tech Companies, Healthcare Institutions and Environmental Departments with R&D Labs, Office Spaces & Warehouses. Besides, the district has 3 residential sub-communities, namely Villa Lantana (440 freehold villas) and its two sub-units Villa Lantana 1 & Villa Lantana 2.
The freezone science-driven business district is approximately 30 million sqft. It is a popular avenue in Dubai for startups, multinational organizations and corporate offices with the locals and foreigners alike.
