Sheikh Zayed Road Overview
Sheikh Zayed Road is the lifeline that cruises its way through the heart of the UAE. Popular as Dubai’s major thoroughfare, Sheikh Zayed Road (or the E11) is the longest road in the UAE.
The road starts from the interchange close to the Oud Metha area to Jebel Ali, near the Dubai–Abu Dhabi border, and continues to Ras Al Khaimah in the northeast. It measures 558.4 kilometers.
In the domain of real estate, this significant stretch of road is informally used to suggest the districts of Trade Center First and Trade Center Second, comprising the 2-km corridor between World Trade Center and Business Bay.
Driving on the road will allow one to witness the stunning transition of the luxury low-rise development scenes into jaw-dropping skyscrapers gracing both sides.
Interestingly, E11 is called Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Road in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa International Highway in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Sheikh Muhammad bin Salem Road in Ras Al Khaimah.
There are around 109 magnificent buildings standing directly on Sheikh Zayed Road, and 125+ plots available along it. Park Palace, Wasl Tower, AA Tower, Blue Tower, Burj Azizi, White Swan, Dubai Investment Tower, Akyon City, Oasis Tower, etc., are a few noteworthy constructions along the E11.
