Dubai Maritime City Overview
Dubai Maritime City is a mixed-use development that spans over 2.27 million square meters of land, marking one of the prime maritime service facilities and industrial business segments in Dubai. It is a popular man-made peninsula in this desert megacity.
Beyond being a maritime hub, Dubai Maritime City (DMC) is a 249 hectare mixed-use coastal destination with 3 sub-communities and 4 vital zones (leisure area, commercial area, repair area & a maritime academy). The residential aspect encompasses a fine collection of diverse living spaces, including apartments, duplexes, penthouses and townhouses. Certain areas inside the vicinity of the city are operational while the overall development of the community is still in progress.
An equally desired alternative to Jebel Ali free zone, DMC Free Zone is designed for inviting and helping maritime businesses and industries, including yachting, ship/boat repair and offshore activities.
The DMC master plan provides rooms for facilities dedicated to 6 sectors, namely Marine Research and Education; Marine Services; Marine Management; Recreation; Ship Design and Manufacturing & Product Marketing.
